Spring in the Alpes

Well, alright, these Alpes are in France, so saying Au Revoir in the last post was a bit premature, but it sounded good!

Wild garlic covers the woodland banks above Albertville.
Conflans is the well preserved medieval former city situated on a hillside overlooking Albertville.
Where the Spring colours in the town are outstanding….
…. and the spring green emphasises the stark strata formations above….
…. and also the ever rising buildings in this steeply built town.
Not too steep for a pushchair though!

Site details for fellow motorhomers:

A good aire just below Conflans with trees for shade on one side. Overlooks Albertville. Water and drain point on site. Free. See Park4Night. GPS 45.6736, 6.39679.
