Au Revoir to France

It’s catch-up time with the blog, so a few should appear over the next few days.

It was farewell to Les Brévières at Easter, after 6 weeks really enjoyable skiing, walking and socialising with Sonia & Ray, Gill & Graham and Jo & Mike. So here’s a quick round-up…..

We were fortunate with the weather and mornings like this remind you just how lucky you are.

Les Brévières is a small traditional mountain village, part of the very large Tignes/Val d’Isère skiing area. It has the atmosphere lacking in the modern resorts higher up the mountain.
This is the old road from the village, disused since 1950 with the construction of a dam at the head of the valley.
(Clockwise from top) An early start on a perfect morning, Les Brévières under fresh snow and the first signs of spring.
George More, resident singer at the Boot Room raising the roof, with just a little help!
(Clockwise from top) Happy faces at the top of the mountain, BBQ time on a warm afternoon, and Ray & Sonia wending their way home.

A bientôt.
